Do you want to gain practical experience in quality work within food production?

This summer, we are looking for a student who wants to work in the quality department with quality, analysis, and product assessment in our modern food factory in Albyberg.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work both in a lab environment and in production, alongside experienced colleagues in quality and food safety. The role will give you valuable experience of how quality work functions in a food factory and how analyses, sensory evaluations, and controls are used to ensure food safety and good food.

About Foodmark

Foodmark has three production facilities in Sweden. In our largest and newest factory, located in Albyberg south of Stockholm, about 100 employees work in a family-like culture with high ambitions, and it is here that we are now looking for a colleague who can help us during the summer.

In the factory, products such as Fjällbrynt's messmör, Rydbergs' spreads, and Lohmanders' sauces are produced.

Your role

As quality support, you will become part of the quality department and work closely with both quality colleagues and production.

You will work with food in both lab and production environments and contribute to ensuring that our products meet our high standards for quality and food safety.

Responsibilities During the summer, you will work with:

• Sensory evaluation and tasting of products and raw materials

• Sampling of products and raw materials for microbiological analysis

• Sending samples to external laboratories

• Analysis of pH values in products

• Routine checks in production and quality systems

• Updating instructions and documentation for production and the quality department

Please note that tasting includes, for example, eggs, shellfish, meat, and mayonnaise-based products.

We are looking for you who

• Are studying microbiology, food technology, natural sciences, or another similar field

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience from food production

• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite

• Practical knowledge in sensory evaluation or other types of tasting

Personal qualities We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is:

· Detail-oriented and structured

· Self-driven but also collaborates well with others

· Responsible with high integrity in quality and regulatory matters
